I’m stuck on Level 6-8 of the Butterflies! It says I need 23 butterflies, but even when I get them..

I’m stuck on Level 6-8 of the Butterflies! It says I need 23 butterflies, but even when I get them all... it only counts 22 and said I failed! (I’ve replayed it many, many times and I HAVE counted them... there are 23, but only counts 22!) It won’t allow me to go to the next level. Is there an upgrade I need to fix something? (This is happening on both my iPad and iPhone games!)

It appears you do not have enough room for all the butterflies to enter the board. Try this strategy. Use your turns to solve smaller words that will fill up the smallest number of squares. When you have enough butterflies on the board to reach 23, you can start solving larger words.
