Cheats, Tips and Strategy

1. Little Red Riding Britney

Britney is a free 5-star mage that you’ll get on your first summon. She’s surprisingly reliable and will carry you across several battles early in the game, especially when properly built and geared. Don’t hesitate to include her on your starter team, and just replace her eventually with better or new characters you want.

2. Learn about Hero Classes and Team Composition

If you’ve been playing RPGs before, then you’re already familiar with the standard class or roles. The game has four self-explanatory hero classes: Guardians (tank), Warriors (physical DPS), Mages (magical DPS), and Support (healers or buffers). Ideally, you’ll want at least one guardian and support to increase your party’s survivability.

These roles will determine the heroes’ best positions in the battlefield as well. Guardians and warriors should be in the front, while mages and support should be in the mid or back row positions. The game offers different formations as well, which will dictate the class of heroes that you can include in the team. For example, the default formation allows you to put one guardian in the middle and up to two supports. Another formation can accommodate two guardians but only one support.

3. Don’t forget to upgrade your Dreamer (player character)

Players in the game are called Dreamers. They’ll start off at the beginning rank “Wanderer”. As they complete various tasks, they’ll earn Dream Medals. When claimed, these medals will help increase the Dreamer’s rank. The Dreamer also receives the Rank Up rewards, including free characters. For example, players can receive a 5-star character “Yuri Schnee” by reaching the Ranger II rank.

Additionally, you’ll also receive daily rewards based on your current Dream Rank. As the Dreamer’s rank increases, ATK and HP stat bonuses will be applied to all heroes that the dreamer owns as well. These stat boosts are stackable with other stat boosting effects and passives.

Finally, there are permanent privileges that will be applied too as you reach higher dream ranks including increased gold revenue from Adventure battles, no points lost in Arena battles, etc.

4. “Update” your Hero Album

Whenever you summon a new hero, their corresponding Album entry will be added automatically. You can collect diamonds for simply unlocking certain characters by checking their Story tab. (This feature is not yet available to all characters).

As you collect additional copies of the heroes you have already unlocked in your album, their Affinity will increase (represented by the number of hearts). After the Affinity gauge is filled up, you have to manually press the “Upgrade” button to raise the Affinity level. As the affinity level increases, various stat bonuses will be applied to all heroes.

5. Always check your Hero Bonds

Hero Bonds represent the relationship between certain characters. As you collect characters that belong to specific bond groups, you’ll get stat bonuses that will be applied to all heroes.

For example, for the Evil Britney group, there are three members: Britney, Mad Granny, and Wolf Granny. If you get any one of them, you’ll activate the first stat bond bonus. Once you have collected all of them, every hero in your roster will get a total of +100 ATK, +1000 HP, and +8 SPD. Completing the bond group will also allow you to claim additional bonus rewards.

6. Always Claim your Idle Rewards

When you’re offline, you’ll still earn resources through the game’s idle reward system. The game can only hold a finite amount of collected idle resources for a few hours so at least log in twice a day to collect these. If you have VIP status, the maximum time you can hold rewards will be extended.

7. Check your team’s power

Your team’s power is the total power of all heroes in a team or party. You can use your team’s power rating as an indicator if they can defeat an opposing team. Normally, the individual members’ power level contributes to the team’s power but other factors may contribute to the total as well, such as:

* Affinity levels

* Hero Bonds

* Activated Relic scores

* Lineup Buffs

* Guild Skills

8. Collect Crystal Lake Rewards

Similar to idle rewards, the Crystal Lake facilities produce valuable resources over time. They also have maximum capacity so if you’re playing the game regularly, make it a habit to collect both idle and crystal lake rewards.

As your power increases, you can complete the upgrade challenges to permanently improve your crystal lake facilities’ production rate and capacity.

9. Focus on Adventure battles early on

Some features in the game are locked behind your progression in Adventure mode. Clear these battles and progress through the Adventure stages to help you unlock many of the useful features of the game.

Is there a quick way to get rid of low-star characters I don't use?

You can go to the Magic Tower from the main menu then tap the Retire tab. From there, you can enable the option to auto-retire 1-star and 2-star characters. Next, you can press Auto Select to select all 3-star characters then press Retire. You'll get Hero EXP, Soul Stone, and Promotion Stone for retiring these characters.

How do I promote sigils?

Once you level up the sigil to 30 you'll be able to promote it. However you'll need at least ten of the yellow promotion stones and several of the standard materials

Is it worth keeping or using 3-star (or below) characters?

If you're starting out, that's fine. But as you gain more powerful 4-star and 5-star characters, there's no use keeping them. You can set the option to auto-retire 1-star and 2-star heroes. You can save some 3-star heroes as fodder if you have any 4-stars that you want to promote (star up).

How can I get more sigils?

You can get sigils from the following: * Quick Adventure * Guild Shop * Lucky Wheel * Mystery Shop

Is it possible to reset a character's level to reclaim the used materials?

Yes you can through the "Rebirth" process in the Magic Tower. Just pay the required amount of diamond to complete the process.
