How do I not run out of diamonds and coins fast?

My biggest tip is to try and use rewarded items that you recieve for free as rewards for winning challenges and season pass. Only buy new items if they're required in the specific challenge, otherwise, try and use as much of your owned items as possible to save gems and coins. Also, you can vote for looks and if you're really short on money i suggest you watch ads after voting to get some extra gens. Try to submit a look in the daily challenge every day and only use owned items with "no value" since there is no required "points/value" in the daily challenges. if you're happy with a look but still need to fill up the point/value meter more, try and look for cheap options to add/buy, like legwear which goes for around 100-200 coins/gems. Don't overspend the gems or coins. Try to submit as many looks as possible as often as possible to max the amout of rewards you get once the results come in, that way you'll spend basicially all your money on the majority of the availiable challenges each day but check in the next day to get the rewards for the look and you'll probably make up for the loss the previous day. It's kinda momentum based. Also, try to log in and submit atleast 1 challenges every 24 hours to keep the streak going and you'll recieve rewards for just keeping up the streak aswell! :)

How do you get to own your fashion picks? When I click “owned” I still get charged coins and gems. Do you ever “own” anything?

You own the items you buy once. However, in every challenge except for the daily challenge there is a point/value meter you have to fill up in order to submit a look. When you've bought an item once it loses it's value/points, but you can still use it in every look. I use my owned items to complete looks and make them look good and buy new items or use rewarded items to fill up the required point/value amount for each look. If you want to use an owned item and get the points/value for that item, you can "rebuy" the item and pay for it again to get the points for that specific look. I only do this if i'm low on money and the cheapest option is to rebuy my owned item instead of buying a new one. Otherwise, i don't recommend doing this. Hope this helps and explains things a little for you. I struggles with the economy of the game in the beginning as well and they're not very good at explaining it to you either, but with some time you'll learn and things will get easier.

No. After submitting a look there is no way to edit the look.
