If your prisoners rioted then they were probably unhappy or you had too few staff to handle them. Check out the prisoner happiness indicators, there are loads of details on our Prison Empire Tycoon Cheats and Tips page which will tell you what to look out for and how to fix and improve prisoner happiness.
