My strategy for this event

I'll be spreading my progress in this tournament over the two days that it runs to take advantage of this tournament overlaps two different banner events, one that ends on Saturday, Vacation Voyage, and the next one that starts when that one finishes.

Where you want to reach in this tournament will depend on how many dice you have left and how many of the popsicles you still want to collect for Ice Cream Partners.

There are 2,590 popsicles in total to get from the milestone rewards and to get them all you'll need to complete milestone 24. But because this is a double bank heist points event, it'll really depend on how lucky you are in getting a bank heist when you've played a high multiplier.

Other milestones to look out for are 15, 18, and 21 which are where the popsicle event tokens are.

How to get points in Sightseeing Sprint and all Monopoly Go tournaments

Here is a breakdown of the scoring system for this tournament. You'll get the following points multiplied by whatever dice multiplier that you used whenever you land on a railroad and then play one of the following mini-games.

If you play Shutdown, then the aim is to hit a target that does not have shields, there is no easy way to work this out, but you may have more luck with locations that don't have four or five targets to choose from. So in Shutdown, you simply choose the target from the player's board that you are shown and then if there is a shield you'll get two points multiplied by your dice multiplier and if there is no shield you'll get four points multiplied by your dice multiplier.

If you get given Bank Heist, then the aim is to find the three gold rings behind the various cards you are shown, or at least avoid the solver coins! Shark Track is a double Bank Heist points tournament so the Bank Heist points are double what they normally are. You'll score eight points multiplied by your dice multiplier for finding the silver coins in a 'small heist', 12 points multiplied by your dice multiplier for finding the bank notes in a 'large heist' or 16 points multiplied by your dice multiplier for finding the gold rings in a 'bankrupt'. You actually have the highest probability to get the bank notes because that is the item most prevalent on the board.

Mega Heist works the same way but you have the potential to both win more money and score more points. The top objects to find in this version of the event are the gold bars which will score you 24 points multiplied by your dice multiplier, but also will potentially give you a ton of cash to use on your landmarks, depending on what multiplier (2-20) you are given for the gold bars.

Here is a table showing a breakdown of the points, multiply them by your dice multiplier to work out what you'll actually get. For example a Bank Heist bankrupt using a x10 multiplier during a Bank Heist x2 tournament will get you 160 points.

Shutdown

  • Shutdown Blocked - 2 points
  • Shutdown Success - 4 points

Bank Heist x2

  • Small Heist - 8 points
  • Large Heist - 12 points
  • Bankrupt - 16 points
  • Mega Heist Gold Bars - 24 points
