Merge Survival Wasteland Tips and Cheats
If you are familiar with other board merge games, then the same general rules apply:
- Keep an eye on the quests
There is no point merging loads of things unless it's to clear a bit of space or to fill a quest. So try not to merge items to too high a level in case you need the item a lower level to fill a quest.
In all games of this genre, you need to follow the quests in order to get rewards to help level upQuests are where you earn your best rewards, so with the limited energy you have available for turns, it's best to try to focus on filling those.
- Unlock all squares
All board merge games start with a number of locked squares, you should try to unlock these by merging items into these as soon as you get the opportunity.
Unlock as many squares as you can early on in the gameSpace is always at a premium in these kinds of games, so having the most available squares to use on the board is essential.
- Fully merge reward items
To get the best value, you should aim to only redeem reward items when they are fully merged, you'll get the most value of them that way. So the items I'm specifically talking about are level points, gems and coins here, if you can, try to merge them to their highest level before redeeming them.
Sometimes this will be hard though as you need to clear spaces on the board, and the reward items are always easy targets to clear.
Now on to more specific tips and hints for Merge Survival Wasteland.

If you have the opportunity to merge a production block to take it the next level, you may want to run both the existing ones until they can give nothing else, then when you merge them, the new production block will also be recharged so you can get more resources from it immediately.
- Sell low level blocks to clear space
If you need to clear tiles on the board, then the best option if you can't merge anything, is to sell your lowest value items that are easy to get from production blocks.
In this game you'll at least get a coin or two for any item that you get rid of.
- Unlock new areas in the Exploration Map
If you press the left arrow at the bottom of the game board, then the compass you can get to the Exploration Map, here you can unlock new areas and send your explorer off to get new rewards.

It's an easy to forget about area, but for regular players it is a great way to get more free items for your main board.

It's kind of fun and kind of annoying. There's not enough places to use the reward items and you have to keep remaking certain generators. It could be great if they added to it and expanded it and improved a few things
