Spend your coins on trash cans

Yes, we know, it’s a very weird thing to say, but trash cans will save your life. One feature of the game that often goes unnoticed is that you can use the little trash can icon on the bottom left of the screen to get a new (hopefully more useful) set of pieces to play. They’re not cheap – 250 coins a piece – but the difference will be well worth it.
