Can I stop the timer?

Can I stop the timer? I just played for a long time and got low on bombs. So I bought the special with multiple bombs, rockets, and potions. It also has 12 hours of play time. No way I could play for more than a few hours before my eyes give out. I hate to waste the other 10 hours. How can I stop the timer so I can use that time I purchased to play later? If I can’t, then buying more than 2 or 3 hours is a waste for me.
