Is last day on earth online? Because I cannot meet with my friends in the specific location.

No, the online features are the radio tower, ambush, etc.

It's online, but it's still beta version. You can add friends. And kill with them in the crater (it is the lowest right button when you're out of your base. Press it to toggle between two characters).
