What is the point of the game in tower mode? What do you need to do?

In tower mode you need to collect the chest of treasure that sits on top of a tower of blocks. You break the blocks by tapping them. If the tower tips too far to the left or right then chest will be lost. so you need to break them carefully to bring the chest straight down to the trap door where it will fall for you to collect.
