Best Stars

As you progress through different levels in the game there is the opportunity to unlock more Stars. You start in the Proving Ground where you have three heroes that you can unlock:

Proving Grounds

Barbarian

Rare

Good basic fighter

Special Powers

Whirlwind - 3 energy

Use this to spin and smash multiple targets around the Barbarian.

Toss - 4 energy

Drag the card where you want the barbarian to thrwo his weapon and smash the enemies in the way of the throw.

Ranger

Common

Proving Grounds

Shoots arrows at one unit from range. Can also hit flying units.

Poison Arrows Buff - 2 Energy

Applies poison to your Ranger's attacks.

Quick Fire Buff - 2 Energy

Speeds up your Ranger's attacks for a short while.

Huntress

Elite

Proving Grounds

Strong and does good damage to long range targets with a taunt ability

Fetch

Throws a large bone that attracts the bear and stuns enemies on impact

Toy Traps

Lays traps for enemies that get too close.

So, these are the three Stars that you can unlock during the initial levels of the game. As you play through, don't forget to upgrade them to make them stronger to enable you to complete the levels and progress to Bronze where you have the chance to unlock some different Stars.

The Ranger works really well if you can keep the Barbarian close by to attack anyone that tries to kill her and some enemies will automatically target the weakest star - which is usually the Ranger. She is great at long distance attacks and also at hitting flying enemies.

Bronze

When you reach the bronze level three more Stars become available to be unlocked.

Runemaster

Common

Bronze

A magical unit that does medium damage to multiple enemies simultaneously.

Ancient Blast

Deals a decent amount of damage over a large blast area. Hits air and ground

Kabloom

High damage blast concentrated to a small area. Hits air and ground

Rogue

Rare

Bronze

A physical damage unit that can disappear and reappear wherever you like.

Stealth Step

The rogue instantly moves to a targeted location and becomes hidden from attackers for a short period of time.

Poison Daggers

Damaging daggers that also causes damage over time. the damage is stackable with more poison dagger throws.

Forest Healer

Elite

Bronze

A magical Star that is good at healing allies.

Moonfire

Causes damage to enemies while healing allies

Tree of Life

Summons a magic tree that sacrifices it's own life to heal nearby allies.
