Cube Defender is a tower defense game where you position your towers on the game board and hope they are strong enough to kill the enemies before they get to your heart. Check out our best cheats, tips and strategy for tor Cube Defender below.

Cube Defender Cheats Tips and Strategy

It's really simple to get started with Cube Defender, after the short tutorial you start to play the real maps, the main thing you have to bear in mind, is that you have to make the route from the entry of the enemy to your heart as long as possible and also remember to continually get more towers after each round and add them to the board.

Those two tips alone are probably enough to get you through the early stages, but keep reading and we'll explain more tips in more detail.

  • Tower Placement

As touched on above placing your towers so that you make a complicated, long route is important, you need to block off all but one of the routes to your heart in order for all of the enemies to pass by the in the same direction and receive hits from all of your towers.

In the first few waves you are limited in what you can do because you only have a few towers, but with each wave completed you get more rewards to purchase more towers that you can deploy on that level.

For the beginning levels at least, our recommendation is that you place as many towers as you can and not upgrade them in order to create a complex snaking path from start to finish.

When you've added enough towers, then go and upgrade some when you can, giving priority to the towers that have the most engagement with the enemy.

So that would usually be those in the center or those that have to have the enemy pass them a couple of times.

Also give priority to those towers whose card you have upgraded as they will naturally be more powerful.

When upgrading towers on the game field the game will highlight the ones that you can upgrade based on the one that you have currently selected.

  • Upgrading Towers

When it comes to upgrading towers I prefer to give priority to those towers that are in the middle of my path, these are the ones that get more hit opportunities, so I try to make them the strongest.

Also, increasing their range while they are in the middle of the map will give them even more hit opportunities..

  • Upgrading Cards and Creating a Battle Deck

It's really important that you upgrade your cards and create an effective battle deck. All cards have their own strengths and weaknesses and as you progress further into the game, the cards that form your battle deck will become more and more important.

It't not always a case of picking the highest rarity cards, but taking a look at the synergies of the cards to make sure you have all different types of attack and also a card that maybe will weaken or slow enemies in some way.

Sometimes it's a matter of playing through a level, failing it, and assessing your weaknesses as to why you could not pass the level and shuffling your deck to pick more appropriate cards for a particular level.

Always make sure that your favorite cards are as upgraded as they can be, it may mean setting aside some of your coins in anticipation of upgrades that you hop will come soon if you think you'll be getting more cards to make that upgrade.

  • Collect Rewards

Especially in the early stages of games like this the game can be packed with rewards, so check out what you have available to you because it could include free energy, free cards, free coins and free gems.

All of which are extremely useful at any stage of the game, but especially early on in the game whn your power level will be relatively low.

  • Use Talents

Don't forget to use the talents you are given during gameplay. Like upgrading towers, I usually prefer to make at least one tower in the center really strong, then apply other upgrades to other critical towers that have a good range, or that the enemy may have to pass by a couple of times.

  • Check the Events and Daily Tasks

In all games like this events and daily or weekly tasks, if a game has them are great ways to get more coins and cards. If you want to make quick progress in the beginning of Cube Defender then making sure that you complete your daily tasks is a great way to give you the resources to make you stronger early in the game.

The events are also great though, while the events will change from time to time, so maybe this content will be our of date or not relevant, there is currently a 7-Day Journey event packed with rewards, and if you can complete it there is a legendary character waiting for you.

FAQs

Here are a few FAQs that may be of interest.

How to get more energy?

As you know if costs energy to play the game, so you can't continually keep playing, and you have to wait for that to be restored so you have enough to play another round.

It is possible to purchase energy with gems, but also you sometimes get the opportunity to watch a video ad to get some extra energy too.

You may also get extra energy from some daily reward tasks and events.

What is the best card?

Usually any of the legendary cards will be the best. BUT they are also the hardest to upgrade as you likely won't get enough of that particular card to make many upgrades, especially if you are free to play.

So, it can be that the BEST CARD FOR YOU, is the one that you get the most of, that way you can upgrade it to a higher level.

However, saying that, the best card, certainly won't be a common one! Let us know in the comments if you have an opinion on what is the best card in Cube Defender.

What is the best thing to spend money on in Cube Defender?

You don't have to spend real money to play Cube Defender, and we haven't spent any money on the game ourselves, but what looks to be the best value is the Growth Fund.

With the growth fund you get gems for each chapter that you complete (probably up to a certain chapter level). While it is a lot of money to purchase, it does give a lot of gems over time if you are into the game.

Cube Defender: Casual TD Reviews

Latest Review:

Great td game, but progressing relies on time passing for daily adverts to upgrade, rather than skill. Feels like it's lacking maturity because there aren't many extras in the game to keto it interesting. Those are the negatives, despite which, I recommend you try it.
