What do the stars mean after each round?
How well you’ve done. The more bricks you destroy in a single try, the more points you get. 10 for the first brick, 20 for the second, and so on. So if you wipe out a full field of bricks in a single barrage, you might get 600 points with the last brick, or 18300 total. To get three stars, you need a high number of points. So you’ll do better getting stars if you break 0, 0, and 30 bricks than if you break 10, 10, and 10.
They’re extra lives. If you want to grind for diamonds, you can use them in the challenges. Even if you lose, you can then watch ads for the 20-diamond and the 5 to 50-diamond rewards.
If I pay to remove ads, is that a permanent thing or just for a limited period of time?
It is permanent until you get a new phone. If you back up your info through facebook, restore on a new phone, all your progress transfers. Your no ads purchase however disappears and you have the option to rebuy it.
