Passive Skills Guide
More Blade and Soul Revolution
Blade & Soul Revolution is an open-world action RPG that features action-packed combat with flashy skills and fluid combos, pitting players against the various monsters and enemies in PvE or competent other players in PvP. Since combat is an integral aspect of the game, properly and constantly upgrading your skills is very important to ensure your survival against the monsters or even other players you’ll face. In this page, we’ll cover Passive Skills, a type of skills that is equally important as the combat skills.
Passive Skills are always in effect and there’s no need to manually activate them. As soon as your character reaches LV20, the passive skills and menu will become available. New sets of passive skills become available after your character reaches LV50, LV100, LV150, LV200, Hongmoon LV10, and Hongmoon LV20. The Hongmoon levels have a red flag icon and will serve as end-game/late-game levels for advanced players.
Each passive skill can also be leveled up to increase their effect and stat boost. Thankfully, they use a different kind of currency: Essence of Passivity (green orbs) Individual passive skills have a maximum level which you can level them up. This will depend on the skill. Like the normal combat skills, as the skill goes higher, the more Essence of Passivity and silver will be required.
You can buy Essence of Passivity from the Shop > Utility > Potions. The maximum number you can purchase will be limited per week. After reaching your limit, the Essences will be restocked on the scheduled weekly reset at the start of the week. (Monday). Thankfully, you’ll only need silver to buy these.
It is possible to reset your passive skills, just in case you'll want to re-spec. This can be done by buying the Passive Reset Ticket by accessing Shop > Utility > Other. When used, 100% of the used passive points and 80% of the silver used will be refunded back to you. Furthermore, this is only applicable to the character who used the item, and it can be used only in towns. This item costs 500 Blue Crystals, which is a premium currency. If you're a free-to-play player and don't want to spend, you'll need to be careful when allocating skill points.
