Blade & Soul Revolution is an open-world action RPG that features action-packed combat with flashy skills and fluid combos, pitting players against the various monsters and enemies in PvE or competent other players in PvP. Like other RPG titles, equipment plays a vital role in strengthening your character. In BnSRev, you’ll be able to upgrade your weapons and accessories through Enhancement. In this page, we will discuss the game’s enhancement system and how you can upgrade your equipment to further strengthen your character.

What is Enhancement

This is a process of using Enhancement Stones to increase the enhancement level of your weapons and accessories. Enhanced equipment will have higher base stats. Only weapons and accessories (earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings) are eligible for enhancement. Enhanced weapons will have a “+x” counter, indicating their enhancement levels. (For example, a +5 weapon is Enhancement LV 5) Once an equipment reaches +10, their Special Option (bonus stat) will be activated.

Equipment Enhancement Guide

Weapons and accessories use different enhancement stones. You can easily identify these by their color. Weapon enhancement stones are red-colored while accessory enhancement stones are colored blue. There are also two types of enhancement stones: normal and radiant. Successful enhancement using normal enhancement stones increases the equipment’s enhancement level by 1. Successful enhancement using radiant stones increases the enhancement level by 2.

How to Enhance

You can only enhance equipment by using the Fire Pit in major towns/villages or by deploying the portable fire pit that you can buy from the shop or merchants. If you’re not sure where the Fire Pit is located in a town, you can tap the arrow beside the mini-map in the upper-left corner of the screen to bring up the Movement Guide. This will list all facilities/shops in the area. Scroll down and select Fire Pit for your character to move to it automatically.

Interact with the fire pit and select the option to enhance to open the corresponding window. Select the equipment you want to enhance. You’ll see the enhancement success rate and the amount of enhancement stones that will be consumed by the process. When you’re ready, press the Enhancement confirmation button in the lower-left corner of the screen to proceed with the enhancement.

Success Rate and Durability

The higher the equipment’s enhancement level, the lower the success rate will be. The success rate is 100% up to +5. From +6 onwards, the success rate will drop considerably.

If an enhancement attempt fails, the items’ durability will be reduced by 1. Usually, items will have two durability points. You can still attempt to enhance even at 0 durability so technically, you’ll have three failures before the item becomes damaged.

Equipment Enhancement Guide

Damaged equipment will not have serious negative effects on the equipment’s stats. You can still equip damaged weapons or accessories, sell them to in-game merchants, or salvage them. The only downsides of damaged equipment is that you can’t post them for sale in the Marketplace and you can’t enhance them further until they’re repaired.

Where to get Enhancement Stones

You can obtain enhancement stones from the following sources.

* Obtained from enemy drops or quest rewards.

* Purchased from the General Merchants

* Purchased directly from the in-game shop

* Craft via General Merchant

* Salvage equipment

* Chance to obtain from Soulstone Processing.
