In Blade & Soul Revolution, equipment plays a vital role in strengthening your character. Aside from the weapons and accessories your character can equip, Soul Shields are special types of equipment that can help strengthen your characters even further. In this page, we will discuss how Soul Shields work and how you can use them to your advantage.
What are Soul Shields
There are 8 slots for Soul Shields, each has their own stat boost values. While it is possible to equip different soul shields, it’s highly recommended to equip soul shields belonging to a set, to activate the set effect. Soul Shields can be leveled up individually up to LV30 each to further increase their stats. You can have up to 4 different Soul Shield sets, which you can swap between each other via your character’s quick info page.
How to Ascend Soul Shields
You can only ascend Soul Shields by using the Fire Pit in major towns/villages or by deploying the portable fire pit that you can buy from the shop or merchants. If you’re not sure where the Fire Pit is located in a town, you can tap the arrow beside the minimap in the upper-left corner of the screen to bring up the Movement Guide. This will list all facilities/shops in the area. Scroll down and select Fire Pit for your character to move to it automatically.
Interact with the Fire Pit then select the Reinforce Soul Shields option to open its corresponding window. Once open, select the soul shield you want to ascend then select the materials you want to use. You can use other soul shields regardless of grade and shape. There are also Soul Shield materials that only serve as fodder to level up normal soul shields.
You can select up to 50 soul shields or materials. You can refer to the level up progress in the lower-left corner of the screen to see how many levels the soul shield will increase from the selected materials. The higher the materials’ grade/level/XP, the more EXP will be granted to the target soul shield. Of course the higher the level the soul shield increases, the higher the reinforcement cost will be. You can buy Soul Shields from the Faction Shop or your Normal shop.
