What are the bronze, silver and gold tickets for in bee brilliant?

The tickets are to allow you to enter the public tournaments. There are 3 levels with less entries and better prizes available for gold, then silver and then bronze.
Tournaments are found by tapping the right most icon on the bottom bar from the main screen. You need to be at least level 51 to enter though. You get more tickets from daily quests (also from the same menu) and by doing well in tournaments.
