How do I get level 8?

Actually I think I may know what you mean... And level 8 troops are not unlocked until you reach level 1001 in the game, but you'll still need 2x level 7 troops to merge into the level 8 once you have unlocked that option.

Do you mean level 8 troops - well just by merging 2 level 7 troops I guess. Or if you are talking about your player level, then you need get enough blue shield points to take you to that level.
