Gamer reviews for World Zombination
Take on the marauding hoards or even become them!
World Zombination happens to be one of the most interesting and tower defence type of game I ever played, it is not at all a standard tower defence game, it is much more than that.
First of all you can play the good guys or the bad guys - so you get to tackle the game from either side - this doesn't happen very often in games.
It also gets very complicated, very quickly, as there are a variety of different units to manage and also the fact that they need to rest after some battles further complicates things. Unfortunately I get the feeling that to progress to a decent level in this game your going to have to rely on making a few in-app purchases for some of the extras or grinding away a long time to get them.
Your units are upgradable outside of the missions and you can do things lie research for your units, train them and collect resources to allow you to buy upgrades in the games, however these are all time reliant, so the further you get, the longer you'll have to wait between these upgrades.
Graphically the game is very neat and tidy and it is quite a playable game if you are willing to invest some time in getting to know the basics. The game is very widely played and consequently you can join guilds to help you progress in the game and pool resources and efforts.
This game I think has some legs and will be around for some time, much like clash of clans or boom beach will be.
I've chosen to give it a 4/5 basically due to some of the in-game restrictions you find early on in the game - it just feels like it wants you to spend a bit too early, other than that, a great game.
